Playing God Hand

I’m reminded so much of Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, and other arcade brawlers when I’m playing God Hand.

The game’s honest in the sense that it is exactly what the developer thought would be good.  It’s not trying to ride genre fads, or just cater to the gaming community.  It’s the kind of game they used to make before there was a gaming community.  Games that I may never actually beat, but was happy to play none-the-less.  The developer may have thought he had too much creative freedom but I think we’d all be better off if more games were as honest as God Hand.
