This week on R5000, we’ve got a new review for Lollipop Chainsaw. For better or worse, Suda51 has delivered more of his brand of “over the top” game content. I already shared my initial impressions of the game last week, and my opinion of the game has improved to a degree. I can’t help but feel hung up on some of the tedium of the game though. The mini-games, narrow starting move set, and quick time events make it difficult to stay consistently engaged with the main game. As always though, good or bad, Chainsaw is a memorable game. So it earns a final score of 2 out of 3 stars.
